  1. The expense of higher education is outrageous nonetheless the federal government is seeking to slash scholarships which are the only way people similar to me can afford to attend college.

    Dear Juliet Schor

I recently read an article which mentioned a study you ran where you measure how much children aged 9-13 cared about posessions, shopping, brands etc and also their use of TV, relationships with their parents, and levels of mental health. Do you have any more information on this study? Would I be able to find it as a paper?

    Thank you very much

    Best Wishes

    Jen
